NexusConsent – Untranslatable strings inside JS files

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your NexusConsent plugin for Joomla. It’s a very clean and useful GDPR consent solution.

I am currently using it in Turkish and have translated the plugin language files. However, I noticed that some user-facing texts are hardcoded directly inside JavaScript files, so they cannot be translated via Joomla language overrides.

For example:

  • After clicking “Only necessary”, the top-right notification shows:
    “Current: Essential cookies only”

There are also a few similar strings that remain in English because they are defined in JS.

Would it be possible to move these texts into Joomla language files or expose them in a way that allows translation/override?

This small change would make the plugin fully localizable.

Thank you for your work and support.

Best regards
